Back in 2002, Kurt Angle issued a challenge to any Superstar to come down to the ring and face him. Out came John Cena, in his in-ring debut. The match ended up impressing the higher-ups and the rest is history.

Angle defeated Cena, but it didn't come easy for the Olympic gold medallist. Post-match, Cena offered to shake Angle's hand, but Angle smirked at him and left the ring.

17 years later, WWE has an opportunity to end Angle's career by paying homage to that incredible moment when Angle and Cena met for the first time. Angle defeated Cena in his first match. Cena should pin Angle in his last match for this journey to come full circle and give Angle one of the greatest sendoffs in WrestleMania history. The following night on Raw, Angle can give a final speech, thanking the fans for always supporting him and ride off into the sunset.
