LA Knight vs. Logan Paul is a dream match that many are anticipating to happen, and it could finally take place soon considering their recent back and forth on SmackDown and social media. Although Knight is the likely favorite to win, he might not be successful in dethroning the champion.

LA Knight and Logan Paul have been trading insults against each other on social media for a while now. To add more tension to their feud, Paul even denied Knight a chance for the United States Championship at Clash at the Castle. Due to this, it's likely that their eventual bout will occur at SummerSlam instead. However, the championship might not change hands.

With this in mind, let's take a look at some reasons why LA Knight could fail to capture the United States Championship from Logan Paul.

A female WWE star said her life is in danger. Details HERE

#3. SummerSlam will take place at Logan Paul's hometown

SummerSlam 2024 will be held on August 3, 2024, at the Cleveland Brown Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio, the hometown of the United States Champion. With this in mind, Logan already has an advantage over the crowd, or possibly not, due to his heel character.

However, the Stamford-based promotion will likely book the hometown hero to retain the title.

#2. WWE could use Logan Paul to erase an important record

Logan Paul may be an impressive WWE star and has certainly shown that he can perform in the ring with the rest of the best, but he isn't the most present champion and has only defended the title a few times. Still, the company may want him to hold on to the belt for a little longer to change history.

As of this writing, Dean Ambrose (AKA Jon Moxley in AEW) is considered the longest United States Champion with 351 days. If The Maverick holds on to the title until October this year, he will be recognized as the longest-reigning US Champion in WWE history.

#1. LA Knight could be used in a different title picture

LA Knight has remained on top of the division despite not being a champion, though he did have some close calls. He battled Roman Reigns a couple of times for the Undisputed WWE Championship but failed to capture the gold. However, he may have another shot at the aforementioned title.

If LA Knight fails to defeat Paul for the US Championship, the company may book him in an Undisputed WWE Championship program against Cody Rhodes after the August premium live event.
