Roman Reigns made his main roster debut in 2012 as a prime member of a group called 'The Shield'. In fact, 'The Shield' is one of the best professional wrestling stables in the WWE and they earned a massive popularity in a short span of time. Moreover, the group had three NXT rookies who were Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. Afterwards, all three Shield members went on to become top-notch superstars of the company.

Meanwhile, the stable reunited on October last year before Ambrose got injured. However, they were heels during their initial run in the WWE. They had several memorable matches against other popular groups like the Wyatt Family, Evolution and The New Age Outlaws.
