#3. Why The New Day should: The group has always been phenomenal as heels
Ad
The New Day started out as heels in WWE before turning babyfaces
When The New Day first started in WWE, the trio were proper heels who were hated by the majority of the WWE Universe. Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E got over with the WWE Universe as heels and then turned babyfaces to completely establish their places as fan-favorites.
With that being said, The New Day could go back to being heels, as they seem to be quite natural in playing any assigned role. Both Kingston and Woods have executed some amazing work as heels in the past and there is also a certain amount of history between the two groups.
Welp....🤷🏾♀️But It was still amazing though. So so amazing! F-ing PEOPLE!!! Thank you!#WrestleMania
Following Kingston and Woods' RAW Tag Team Championship win against Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin, the duo was kicked out of The Hurt Business as it led to an implosion within the faction. With Kingston and Woods being responsible for The Hurt Business being reduced in numbers, having them join the group will certainly play well into the story.
