One potential option for The New Day would be to feud with The Hurt Business at some point down the road. The two groups have established themselves quite well within WWE and also have the support of a hardcore fanbase in the WWE Universe.

Instead of having Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods align with The Hurt Business, the duo of MVP and Bobby Lashley could find a third member for the group. The likes of Ricochet, Mace, and even Keith Lee could be potential options to join the MVP-led faction.
That being said, The New Day will have to reunite with their third member Big E and all WWE has to do is book a blockbuster feud between them and The Hurt Business. Given that The New Day is divided across two brands, WWE could even book a New Day vs. Hurt Business feud in the lead-up to Survivor Series. Something similar to what they did with The Shield vs. The New Day a few years ago.
