The first match of WWE RAW on Netflix was the Tribal Combat match between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa for the Ula Fala. This high-profile bout ended with the Original Tribal Chief defeating Sikoa and reclaiming the necklace around his neck. However, in a surprising post-match twist, The Rock made another appearance and placed the Ula Fala around Reigns' neck.

Moments before this match, The Final Boss had already cut a promo to kick off the RAW Netflix premiere. Meanwhile, The Great One not attacking Roman in the post-match surprised many fans.

In this article, we will discuss three reasons why The Rock didn't attack the OTC on WWE RAW's Netflix debut show.

#3. The Rock is now a babyface star

One potential reason behind The People's Champion not attacking Roman Reigns could be his current turn into a babyface star. During his promo segment, The Final Boss praised Cody Rhodes and even hugged him afterward.

This development hints at his gradual transformation into a babyface star in the Stamford-based promotion. Therefore, with no villainous arc, this could be the rationale behind The Rock merely appearing in the ring to place the Ula Fala around Reigns' neck rather than attacking him.

#2. The Final Boss has already acknowledged Roman Reigns as the Original Tribal Chief

During the Final Boss' opening segment, The Rock seemingly hinted at why he did not attack Reigns, as he already considers him the OTC. In this opening promo, the Hollywood star praised Roman for elevating the company and referred to him as the Original Tribal Chief while hyping the Tribal Combat match.

This shows that, in the battle between Roman and Solo, the veteran has always considered Reigns the only Tribal Chief of their family. Therefore, when he confronted him, there was no reason for The Rock to attack the OTC in the post-match.

#1. Roman Reigns vs. The Rock is not happening anytime soon in WWE

If The Rock had attacked Roman Reigns in the post-Tribal Combat match, it could have surely led to a direction for a match between the two Samoans. Another potential reason behind The Final Boss not attacking The Head of the Table could be that a match between Reigns and The Rock isn't happening anytime soon.

This is why WWE may not wanted to plant seeds or give the WWE Universe hope for their dream showdown to occur anytime soon. Rather than attacking, The Rock's actions have now shut down all possibilities of him facing Roman and declaring himself the Tribal Chief.

As a result, WWE no longer faces any pressure to book a match between Roman and The Rock in the near future.
