WWE recently announced that the 2024 Survivor Series: WarGames will take place on November 30 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Fans have since wondered if The Rock will return at the major event. The Final Boss was last seen during the episode of Monday Night RAW after WrestleMania 40.

Below are three main reasons why The Rock must return at Survivor Series: WarGames this year.

#3. The Rock has never competed in a WarGames match

The Rock is one of the most influential names in WWE history. He has done everything in the wrestling business there is to do, but he has never competed in a WarGames match.

With him recently completing his acting commitments for his upcoming movie, The Smashing Machine, there is sufficient time for The Final Boss to get ready for the physically demanding match.

#2. Set up a massive match against Cody Rhodes for future WWE PLE

Before The Rock left for other commitments after WrestleMania 40, he confronted the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, telling him that while Cody's story with Roman Reigns might have finished at 'Mania, their story was just getting started.

The company will certainly be looking to book a major singles match between The Rock and Cody Rhodes sometime down the line. Hence, it might be possible that The Great One could return at Survivor Series and challenge The American Nightmare for a match at a major premium live event like Royal Rumble.

#1. Spice up the entire Bloodline saga

Solo Sikoa is set to challenge Cody Rhodes this weekend at SummerSlam for the Undisputed WWE Championship. With Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu in his corner, Solo will try to bring the title back to The Bloodline.

However, many fans believe that Roman Reigns will make his much-anticipated return at SummerSlam and cost Solo the win. This could eventually lead to a power struggle between the two to determine who the real Tribal Chief is.

Reigns will need backup and could possibly look to bring back the original members of The Bloodline, including Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Sami Zayn. WWE could be planning to feature a Bloodline Civil War culminating inside WarGames at Survivor Series.

This scenario could be the perfect place for The Rock to make his return. He could make a big statement by siding with the new version of The Bloodline, which could be the start of a mega program with Reigns for WrestleMania 41.
