3 reasons why The Rock will return and join Roman Reigns in huge surprise

The Rock made a surprising return earlier this year to join The Bloodline's storyline with Roman Reigns, and a lot has happened since then and now. Although both stars are currently absent from television, more could occur in the group's story.

The Rock made a surprising return to WWE at RAW Day 1 and initially laid out a challenge for Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Championship, hinting at a clash for WrestleMania XL. However, fans voiced out that Cody Rhodes should have gotten that spot instead, resulting in a couple of matches being changed, The Final Boss and The Head of the Table vs. Cody and Seth while the second night featured Cody vs. Roman.

Rhodes defeated Reigns in the main event of Night Two and met with Dwayne on RAW after WrestleMania, hinting at a feud after the latter returns from his responsibilities in Hollywood. Meanwhile, Sikoa took over The Bloodline and added new stars to the group, which Roman clearly disapproved of as finally he returned. Many think what's transpiring with The Bloodline could lead to The Brahma Bull and The Head of the Table becoming enemies, but there could be some reasons why The Rock and Roman Reigns will first team up in WWE.

#3. The Rock could set up Roman Reigns for a major betrayal

After Solo Sikoa took over The Bloodline in Roman's absence, theories spread that it's possible Dwayne could be the mastermind in all of it and was instructing the former North American Champion. Due to this, Johnson could first team up with Reigns to gain his trust.

Once Dwayne returns, he could first side with Roman against the new Bloodline and act as if they are both against Solo. Later on, when Reigns' walls are down and he fully trusts his cousin, Johnson could attack him and reveal that he was working with Solo all along.

As mentioned above, The Final Boss and Cody Rhodes already planted seeds for a WrestleMania 41 clash for possibly the Undisputed WWE Championship. However, many are still clamoring for The Brahma Bull to face his cousin instead.

Dwayne and Roman could build a stronger foundation for them and provide more interest for their eventual feud, which could definitely take place at WrestleMania 41.
