Despite his best efforts, Styles came up short at Survivor Series last year, getting caught in the F5 as he attempted the Phenomenal Forearm.

This year, a win could definitely help AJ, who has had a fantastic reign as WWE Champion, whilst a loss for Brock would barely register on his radar.
After Survivor Series this year, it's unlikely that Brock will be on RAW, or that we will see him at all, presumably until January's Royal Rumble.
When he returns, he'll still be the same a**-kicker he's always been, with his loss to Styles being nothing but a distant memory.
Styles' victory could take the Champ in so many different directions, and would definitely be a feather in the cap of a cocky heel who's able to beat him, knowing they beat the guy who beat the beast (looking at you Miz).
