#1. Isn't a work - A history of concussions
Alexa Bliss has had no luck since August 2018. She dropped the title to Ronda Rousey and then suffered a concussion that essentially kept her out for the rest of 2018. She spent three months on the sidelines and only really returned in the ring for the Royal Rumble.
Since August last year, Bliss hardly wrestled because of suffering multiple concussions. There's no confirmation as to which match caused a concussion, if it did at all, but WWE is generally very quiet in these matters.

Rightfully, they do a good job in terms of dealing with it and medically clearing superstars. Alexa Bliss is charismatic and is by far the best talker in the women's division, which is why it made sense to keep her in an on-screen capacity where she hosts shows among other things.
Either way, we hope that it isn't a concussion, even though she has a clear history of concussions since August 2018. We wish Bliss all the best and a speedy recovery if she's really injured!
