3 reasons why Bobby Lashley should face Brock Lesnar instead of Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship

Move
Move over, Roman!

#1 Lashley is legit

And a better MMA fighter?

Plain and simply put as the entry title suggests, Bobby Lashley is legit.

Bobby Lashley is the perfect candidate to defeat Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam as he is possibly the toughest superstar on the entire roster, next to Brock. As mentioned earlier, Bobby had a pretty respectable run with WWE just over 10 years ago, where he competed in some solid performances with the likes of Finlay, Booker T, John Cena and the late Umaga, to name a few.

He dominated Impact Wrestling for four years, where he was a 4-time Impact World Heavyweight Champion, with at one point during one of those reigns, also simultaneously holding the Impact X Division Championship and being the final King of The Mountain Champion.

He also had a very impressive win/loss record, with big victories over the likes of Kurt Angle, Bobby Roode, Drew McIntyre, EC3, Jeff Hardy, James Storm, Austin Aries, Samoa Joe and fellow mixed martial artist Josh Barnett, among more.

What makes Bobby the most legitimate challenger for Brock Lesnar is his MMA record, which, in truth, is far more impressive than Brock Lesnar's. As of his last fight to date in October 2016 (Bobby still has a contract with Bellator) Lashley's MMA record is 15-2.

And in my opinion, Bobby's MMA record is far more impressive than Brock Lesnar's, not just for having for more fights, but for being a better fighter also, which makes him all the more the best possible challenger for Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.

Due to his freakish size, legit toughness and tremendous skill, Bobby is also the best possible replacement for Brock Lesnar once he leaves WWE, as being the next toughest superstar in the company to defeat.
