#1 Charlotte Flair was already in a feud with The Kabuki Warriors

They have been fighting for a while

Charlotte Flair swapped brands in the last draft and her return to RAW has not proven fruitful thus far. While she teased another feud with Becky Lynch earlier, she eventually started a rivalry with Asuka and Kairi Sane, locking horns with both women on different occasions.

Besides Becky Lynch, 'The Queen' also teamed up with Natalya earlier to take on The Kabuki Warriors. The rivalry became more serious at Survivor Series, where Charlotte and The Kabuki Warriors were on Team RAW, but Asuka betrayed Charlotte and the rest of the team, spitting green mist at the 10-Time women's champion. As a result, Charlotte and Asuka crossed paths in a singles match the following night on RAW, and Asuka won her first singles match against Flair. Moreover, Charlotte also lost to the Women's Tag Team Champions in a Handicap Match last week.

With Charlotte having feuded with Asuka and Kairi Sane for a while, she certainly deserved a title shot, but she just needed a tag team partner to even the numbers. As Becky Lynch agreed to join hands with her old foe, Charlotte certainly gained a credible partner, and they have a good chance of winning the twin belts at TLC.
