Dolph Ziggler is the very opposite of Goldberg in a lot of ways because while people like Goldberg need others to make him look good, Ziggler thrives on making others look good. He's made a career out of being the best 'seller' in the company. This made him ideal for taking a shot at Bill Goldberg.

Ziggler is also very competent on the microphone and doesn't fumble. Hence, he may have been chosen to voice the displeasure of one and all, on live television.
