2: Brock Lesnar should not compete for Gold at Wrestlemania
After a long hiatus beyond his first run in the WWE, the Beast Incarnate returned to our screens in 2012 on an episode of Raw, much to everyone’s delight as he added more misery to John Cena, who lost to The Rock the night before at Wrestlemania.
It seemed the entire WWE universe was excited that the Beast was back where he started. But gradually over the years, his support has reached an all-time low.
Now if you are no stranger to the WWE, you will know why. Being a part-time universal champion for nearly 600 days since it was established has annoyed a lot of the Universe, and I am sure no one forgives him for ending the Deadman’s streak either. Ironically, for a person who doesn’t show up that often, he is over utilised.
As the WWE tries to change its course, it would seem they now realise Brock Lesnar’s reign at the top is stagnant, and the decision makers would see it fitting that his reign ends on the grandest stage of them all. However, many believe he has had his vast share of WrestleMania moments, and that its time to see some established fresher faces competing for the title, with Finn being one of them.
Let's have another dream match. Styles vs Nakamura was a fantastic showcase for wrestling. Why not this year have Finn square off against ‘The Architect’ Seth Rollins, or bring the ‘Scottish Psychopath’ Drew McIntyre to the forefront of WWE monsters?
