Goldberg winning the title is in no way 'best for business'. He was a great Superstar but is now a part-timer and anything he does would be at the pay-per-views.

We already have one champion who does that in the form of Brock Lesnar and the fans do not like that one bit. While Lesnar has been an 'entertaining' champion, especially at the Royal Rumble, it would be a bad decision to go into WrestleMania with 2 part-timers who are the top champions in the company.

Moreover, reports suggest that Goldberg is not booked for WrestleMania 36 right now. However, Wrestling Observer reported:

Everything is obviously subject to change as Vince McMahon could always decide Goldberg is a better opponent for Reigns for a WrestleMania marquee, but that would also mean ditching plans for months of building Bray Wyatt up for Reigns.

Thus, if Goldberg wins tonight, it would mean that he will drop the title very soon – maybe even at Elimination Chamber in less than 10 days!
