Cena is at a point in his career where he has nothing left to prove.

Cena is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, and while you wrestling enthusiasts out there might say how can his five moves of doom even put him in a category consisting of legends such as Shawn Micheals and The Undertaker? Well, Cena earns his place there due to his undeniable popularity that kept WWE going after the attitude era and his ability to be a fantastic wrestler.

Cena is a fantastic wrestler because to be a wrestler you need mad microphone skills, drawing power, and then to be competent in the ring. all the greats have those three things, and Cena has it. But Cena's role right in the WWE is to not steamroll through all competition but to elevate them, as he has become a stepping stone for new talent, whether fans of the man like it or not.

Cena is here to help the likes of Finn Balor, Dean Ambrose and Andrade reach new heights they never thought they would touch before. So the chances of him winning the Royal Rumble is not going to be great, as WWE has settled him into the 'stepping stone' role, and after having a career that saw other legends do that for him, Cena is just giving back to the next generation.
