#1. To give Roman Reigns an underdog persona before his big push

As mentioned earlier, Roman Reigns has the best odds to win the 2020 edition of the Men's Royal Rumble. Reportedly, Reigns will then challenge The Fiend for the Universal title in the main event of WrestleMania 36. WWE has always been keen on pushing him as an underdog even though he is one of the biggest stars in the WWE locker room.

Whenever the company has wanted to push Reigns, they enforce an underdog persona on him. His prolonged rivalry with Brock Lesnar last year is a huge example in that regard. By 2018, The Big Dog was already the top full-time star on the WWE roster. Yet, the company wanted us to believe that all odds were against him. I believe that the cycle is repeating and this time, The Fiend takes the place of Lesnar.

Similar to how The Beast dominated his opponents during his reign, The Fiend is also demolishing his opponents and refusing to stay down for the count of three. It is only a matter of time before Reigns earns the right to challenge Wyatt at WrestleMania 36 - and possibly overcome all odds to clinch the Universal Championship.
