3 reasons why Seth Rollins can't afford to lose to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35

As we're getting closer to the show of shows, the WWE is taking great pains to promote the two much-anticipated main events.

Although the Raw Women's title triple threat match is the talk of the town this year, there's a large portion of the WWE Universe that's clamouring to witness The Architect take on The Beast for the Universal title.

Seth Rollins has paid his dues over the course of the past five years to become quite possibly the biggest babyface in the company at the moment. On the other hand, fans have grown tired of Lesnar's lack of care for the WWE and its supreme title. Here are three scathing reasons why Brock should lose the Universal title to Seth Rollins at all costs.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

#3 The most popular superstar at the moment

An argument can be made in favour of Rollins being the biggest fan favourite at the moment, of course alongside Becky Lynch and Kofi Kingston.

He has displayed incredible athletic skills as well as the gift of gab, wowing the WWE Universe on a weekly basis. It's no secret that Rollins is set to become one of the biggest superstars of this era in the near future, and nothing would help him achieve that goal more than pinning Brock Lesnar in the middle of the ring at WrestleMania 35.

#2 Brock Lesnar's curse

If we look at the past title defences by The Beast, one thing stands out. Once Brock's done with taking back his title, the wrestler he beats goes back to doing nothing of worth.

Samoa Joe looked like a credible threat to Brock, even leaving him unconscious on Raw, heading into their PPV match. It took Brock one F-5 to pin Joe, and he is stuck jobbing on SmackDown ever since.

Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar went toe to toe at No Mercy two years ago. Braun fell prey to the F-5 too, and still hasn't recovered from that blow. He is currently in the middle of a bland feud against Baron Corbin and his team of villains.

Roman managed to beat Brock at Summerslam last year, but will Seth be able to recover from a major WrestleMania defeat at the hands of The Beast? The odds are heavily stacked against that possibility.

#1 The reign of terror needs to come to an end

When Brock Lesnar returned to the WWE back in 2012, fans couldn't be more elated, as he immediately attacked John Cena upon his arrival.

Brock won the WWE title at Summerslam 2014, by squashing Cena like a bug, and the reign of terror began. Lesnar has taken the WWE Universal title hostage for the better part of the last three years.

His contract gives him the kind of perks no one else enjoys on the main roster. He only defends the title on special occasions such as "The Big 4" PPVs, resulting in the Intercontinental title becoming the bigger title on Monday Night Raw.

It seemed like the reign would be coming to an end at WrestleMania 34, but the plans were changed at the last minute. Fans have had enough of The Beast ruining the Universal title. It's time for Seth to take it from Lesnar and bring back its lost prestige.
