We, as wrestling fans, always make a huge deal and cry about storytelling in wrestling. But with that being said, the Lesnar-Rollins feud has been quite entertaining with its fair share of highs and lows.

The feud between Lesnar and Rollins dates back to 2015 when a young, upstart Rollins had a star-making performance against then WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble in a Triple Threat Match which also included John Cena. Although Rollins took the pin in the match, he had proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he could hang with the best that WWE had to offer.

Rollins and Lesnar would once again come to blows when The Kingslayer cashed in his MITB contract during the main event of WrestleMania 31 and walked away with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Lesnar would finally get his rematch against Rollins for the title at Battleground but we never got a finish to that match as The Undertaker interrupted the match which led to a no-finish.

Rollins has been one of the few Superstars who have defeated Lesnar twice since the Beast's return to WWE in 2012. Having Lesnar face off against a different opponent given how he won the championship at Extreme Rules would've been highly anti-climatic and an abrupt end to a storyline that has been building for the past four years.
