Seth Rollins' 2019 has been good. He has defeated the likes of AJ Styles, Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar (twice). He also won the Royal Rumble match. Despite being one of the most strongly booked characters on WWE TV, Rollins has never actually been positioned as the face of the company.

Reigns, on the other hand, has been the face of WWE for the better part of the last half decade. 'The Big Dog' had been in the main event of WrestleMania for four straight years and has won every single major championship in the company. 'The Big Dog' is one of only two men, the other being Brock Lesnar, to have defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania. Reigns has even been front and center on all the FOX on SmackDown promotional material. This simply isn't the case for Seth Rollins.

None of this is a knock on Rollins, who is arguably one of the best in-ring talents of this generation, but he isn't even the face of Monday Night RAW. Becky Lynch is. Rollins' real-life fiancee has been the biggest star in the company for the better part of 2019. She was the first overall pick in this year's draft and has been at the center of anything and everything WWE. Many still act as though Rollins is being pushed in a similar fashion to Reigns and Lynch, but nothing could be further from the truth.
