#2 Continuing the narrative
Daniel Bryan has lost to The Miz on two consecutive PPVs, and while neither The Miz or Daniel Bryan was involved in their finish at Hell in a Cell, that hasn't stopped The Miz gloating about the victory in the weeks that have followed.
There is no denying that the WWE has failed to capatalise on Daniel Bryan's momentum since his return to in-ring action earlier this year, but having him constantly lose to The Miz actually makes a lot of sense from a storyline perspective.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
It is worth remembering that Daniel Bryan became the star that he is today because he was booked as the company's ultimate underdog, and while re-telling that same story may seem a little bit lazy, it is also guaranteed to be a success.
By booking The Miz to constantly go over Bryan, the WWE are infuriating the fanbase and, in turn, getting them to rally behind Bryan even more. Having him lose once more on Saturday only helps him get more over in the long-run.
The ideal scenario would be for The Miz to beat Bryan, then win the WWE title from AJ Styles, only for Bryan to win the Rumble and finally get the big victory over The Miz at WrestleMania.
