3 reasons why the Shield’s reunion could fail this time

#1 There’s no need to reunite this group every single year

We have already seen a ton of reunions
We have already seen a ton of reunions

The Shield reunited in 2012 with Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. That time, none of these wrestlers were popular among the WWE Universe. However, the next two years changed everything for this alliance as they became one of the most liked tag teams of all time.

Then, the worst thing happened to this group and it was the breakup. Rollins broke the group for Triple H and I must say that it was a blessing in disguise. Since then, all three members of this group became successful and now can flourish on their own.

Most think that The Shield reunited after 3 years in 2017 but it isn't the truth. In 2015, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose worked together as a team on many occasions. The following year, Rollins and Reigns worked together and in this way, the group never got broken up. Yet again, we got to see two more reunions in 2017 and 2018 (and now in 2019).

What I'm trying to say is that we don’t need a Shield reunion every single year. The first time they got together, fans were extremely happy. But the next time it happened, their excitement got reduced a bit.

And while this year the fans have shown their excitement, it is mainly due to Roman Reigns' return and it might soon fade away.
