#2 Protecting 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt
Considering the havoc wrecked by The Fiend over the past several months to wrestlers such as Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Daniel Bryan, and The Miz, it is only fair to expect that WWE Creative may want to portray an incredible triumph by allowing him to lose the Universal Championship at the main event of the biggest show of the year, WrestleMania 36.
However, there lies the risk of making The Fiend character look weak and thereby, lose its credibility and threat. The exponential popularity of the character has not worn off yet and may continue even after WrestleMania 36, if he is booked the right way by WWE Creative.
This is where a Triple Threat Match may come in handy for the company and for Bray Wyatt. If top management decides to put the Universal Championship on Daniel Bryan's shoulders, then this could happen, if he pins The Miz or makes him tap out. This same logic goes vice versa, if management decides to put The Miz over at WrestleMania 36. Neither man has to directly beat The Fiend to become Universal Champion.
In both the scenarios, The Fiend's sanctity and credibility can be protected and preserved, even if he loses the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36.
