#1 ROH's Tape Library
Despite wrestling being its primary business, WWE has become more of a global media juggernaut than anything else. The company pushes out almost eight hours of content every single week across two of the biggest cable networks in the US - FOX and the USA Network. In addition to that, the company has the WWE Network, where users can find hundreds of hours of wrestling programming. Aside from housing every single episode of Monday Night RAW, the Network also has a plethora of programming from both WCW and ECW.
The WWE Network has become the one-stop-shop for wrestling fans. The biggest reason why the WWE who would want to buy ROH is for their tape library. ROH has been home to some of the best non-WWE matches (in North America) over the last two decades, like Samoa Joe Vs CM Punk and Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan) Vs Nigel McGuiness.
ROH programming has the potential to bring in a vast number of new subscribers to the network. WWE could use this footage for future documentaries on some of its top stars, most of whom have been a part of ROH at some point in their career.
