As mentioned ahead, WWE has been able to surprise the fans for the first time in a long time this week. Last week, whenever someone asked who would be Finn Balor's next challenger, the fans would pick either Randy Orton, Ali, Buddy Murphy or Shelton Benjamin. But, WWE went with Shinsuke Nakamura to prove all guesses wrong.

Now, if you have a look at the Extreme Rules match card, we may have an Intercontinental Championship match between the former NXT Champions. Besides, we may also get a United States Championship battle featuring AJ Styles and Ricochet. And, WWE has already announced a dream tag team match where Roman Reigns and The Undertaker will team up to take on Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre.

The WWE Universe criticized the Creative team for booking rematches at WWE Stomping Grounds. So, the team is under immense pressure to deliver the goods at Extreme Rules. Though they have booked some rematches, these surprises have inflicted fresh blood in the event's match card.
