#1 Might return to WWE soon: Billie Kay
2020 was a year where WWE broke up several tag teams and factions. One such team from the women's division was The IIconics, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay. The former WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, IIconics was one of the few proper tag teams in the women's division and fans were surprised at the decision to randomly split them.
The initial speculation was that this split would result in Peyton Royce getting a singles push, but that didn't really happen. Fans were concerned about what would this mean for Billie Kay who seemingly had no storyline. However, she moved to SmackDown in the 2020 WWE Draft and debuted a new gimmick, handing out her resume to other superstars.
A female WWE star said her life is in danger. Details HERE
This resulted in some hilarious and memorable backstage segments. Kay's last WWE appearance came at WrestleMania 37 where she teamed up with Carmella in the women's Tag Team Turmoil match. Her release came as a massive shock and the WWE Universe sounded off their anger on social media.
Last year, we saw Drake Maverick get released and then brought back due to massive fan support. Looking at the massive support from the WWE Universe for Billie Kay, could something similar happen with her? In any case, Kay will surely reach bigger heights wherever she ends up before possibly returning to WWE as a bigger star.
