The Rock became a huge star.

If you have to name the most successful WWE Superstar (whether on-screen or off-screen), it would be none other than The Rock. He has achieved a plethora of awards in WWE and is a former eight-time WWE World Champion and has also won the WCW Championship twice.

He is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Rocky Johnson, another professional wrestler who only became a WWE tag team champion once. He achieved a lot of success in other promotions such as NWA, GCW, MACW and PNW.

A WWE Hall of Famer isn't a John Cena fan. More details HERE

A Royal Rumble champion in 2000, The Rock made a special appearance in the opening segment of Wrestlemania XXX along with Stone Cold Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan and later made only sporadic appearances on screen before moving over to Hollywood to become one of the richest actors in the world.
