3 Signs Dominik Mysterio will win the World Heavyweight Championship in 2025

Dominik Mysterio was part of the opening segment this Monday on RAW. He and the rest of The Judgment Day came to the ring to confront the reigning World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, heading into the title match against Finn Balor at Saturday Night's Main Event.

At some point during the segment, Finn Balor referred to Dirty Dom, who has become part of the title picture lately, even though he has yet to get a one-on-one title match with the Ring General.

As he continues gaining momentum, though, we look at three signs he will win the World Heavyweight Championship in 2025.

#3. WWE has made him part of the title picture lately

Over the past few weeks, Dominik Mysterio has become part of another storyline aside from his romantic angle with the Women's World Champion Liv Morgan.

More specifically, he has entered the title picture, getting opportunities to become the No.1 contender to Gunther's World Heavyweight Championship, even though he has come up short.

However, this is a sign that WWE could further push him forward, especially if he helps Finn Balor dethrone Gunther at Saturday Night's Main Event.

#2. Finn Balor says Dominik Mysterio didn't deserve a title shot

In the opening segment, Finn Balor confronted Gunther, but first, he took a shot at Dominik Mysterio, who was next to him, saying that Dirty Dom didn't deserve a title shot.

Mysterio didn't like that comment but stayed on Finn's side, with the latter telling Gunther repeatedly that he deserved the shot, as he interfered twice in his title matches with Damian Priest (SummerSlam and Crown Jewel), helping The Ring General retain.

On that occasion, Dominik could help Finn defeat Gunther and Damian Priest at Saturday Night's Main Event and then assault him to set the stage for a title match against Balor. Mysterio could tell the leader of The Judgment Day that he became champion because of him and then get a title match, where he would dethrone Balor and leave The Judgment Day.

#1. There has been tension between Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor recently

Things haven't gone the best way for The Judgment Day lately. There has been quite a tension between its members, especially Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio.

Balor has been blaming Dirty Dom for losing to Damian Priest in No.1 Contender's matches, allowing The Punisher to get his rematch with The Ring General. This has created tension between the two Judgment Day members, as the feud between Balor and Priest is far from over.

Thus, with Damian Priest getting a title shot at Saturday Night's Main Event against Finn Balor and Gunther, Dominik could show up and interfere, letting Balor capitalize.

He would then have a face turn and challenge Finn to a title match. WWE could even make it a Triple Threat Match, giving Damian Priest another title match, where Dominik Mysterio would take advantage of the rivalry between Finn and Damian and "steal" the victory to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

The RAW premiere on Netflix on January 6 would be the perfect spot for that title match.
