#1 The birth of KofiMania
2 months ago, Kofi Kingston was nowhere near the WWE Title picture. The go home show of SmackDown Live before the Elimination Chamber PPV saw Kofi Kingston give the performance of a lifetime, lasting over an hour in the Gauntlet match. Kofi had come in as a replacement for Ali and ran with the opportunity.
The fans rallied behind the high-flyer in droves, resulting in the birth of a new movement called KofiMania, which was similar to Daniel Bryan's Yes Movement 5 years back. This time, Kofi took on the role of Bryan's underdog while Bryan became The Authority, calling him a B+ player on multiple occasions.

Despite Mr. McMahon's consistent attempts to make sure that Kofi remained far away from the WWE Title picture, he prevailed and is all set to face Bryan at WrestleMania 35 for the WWE Title. KofiMania proved that if the fans support a Superstar enough, WWE will listen to them and shoot the Superstar up for a mega push.
