3 SmackDown superstars who deserved to be the #1 contender of SmackDown Women's title more than Alexa Bliss

#2 Mickie James

Former WWE Women's Champion Mickie James was among the RAW superstars who switched brands in the Superstar Shakeup of 2019. However, just like Liv Morgan, James is yet to show up on Tuesday nights. She had a stellar run on SmackDown Live as Alexa Bliss' ally in 2016-17, and if given the right amount of time and exposure, she could once again become one of the top female athletes of the company.

As mentioned ahead, there is a short amount of time until WWE Stomping Grounds takes place, hence, WWE could have built a mini-feud between James and Bayley. Mickie would have surely put over Bayley with a classic match at the pay-per-view but the possibility that this match takes place in the foreseeable future is negligible.

Mickie could have even moved back to the tag team division with someone like Lana after having a brief feud with Bayley.
