CM Punk is preparing for his blockbuster match against Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam, with Seth Rollins as the Special Guest Referee. Punk and McIntyre continue to take shots at one another, while Rollins' presence has added more fuel to the feud.
Amid his rivalry with The Scottish Warrior and The Visionary, The Best in the World made an interesting statement about the possibility of running a faction again. The last time he headed a faction was in 2009, when he was the leader of The Straight Edge Society, consisting of Luke Gallows, Joey Mercury, and Serena.
The faction was created in late November 2009 and split 10 months later, in early September 2010. The Best in the World recently kept his options open regarding building a new faction.

That said, let's examine three WWE stars who could join him if he creates a faction on Monday Night RAW.
#3. Ilja Dragunov
The former NXT Champion has had quite an impressive run since he moved to the main roster during the WWE Draft in late April. Currently a babyface, he is trying to take his career to the next level, but he has been dealing with a tough challenge in Bron Breakker.
Breakker and Dragunov were rivals on NXT and have brought their rivalry to RAW, as they are both competing for a shot at the Intercontinental Championship.
Joining CM Punk's faction would help Ilja Dragunov get some help against Breakker, but most importantly, it would allow him to elevate his game and become a legitimate title contender.
#2. Trick Williams
The former NXT champion has started a feud with Pete Dunne after the latter assaulted him on the white and gold brand last week. Still, a move to the main roster is on the horizon and could take place soon.
Siding with CM Punk would make the transition smoother and help him evolve. Trick Williams is considered one of the top stars on WWE NXT and has praised The Best in the World several times since the latter decided to make his return after nearly 10 years.
#1. Roxanne Perez has a lot of respect for CM Punk
The reigning NXT Women's Champion has been a dominant force in the Women's Division and looks nearly unstoppable. We should expect WWE to move her to the main roster, and what better way to make her debut than joining CM Punk's faction?
Punk and Perez recently clashed on WWE TV, but the latter has a lot of respect for the Best in the World and his wife, AJ Lee. If Perez joined Punk's faction, she could first go after Rhea Ripley, who leads The Judgment Day alongside Damian Priest.
On that occasion, we could also see some mixed tag team action, with CM Punk, the reigning NXT Women's Champion, colliding with Mami, the reigning World Heavyweight Champion.
As CM Punk is set to stay with WWE for a very long time, we should wait to see whether he will create his own faction.
