The upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown from the Rogers Place in Edmonton, Canada, will be a must-watch. This will be the fallout episode of the blue brand after Bash in Berlin, and so a lot is expected to go down this Friday.

While the show will feature the likes of Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes and Women's Champion, Nia Jax, it might also lead to the return of a few superstars who have been away from television on Friday nights.

In this article, we will look at three superstars who could make their return on the upcoming episode of SmackDown:

#3. Randy Orton returns to WWE SmackDown

While Randy Orton is a SmackDown star, the last few weeks witnessed him making multiple appearances on RAW. The Apex Predator challenged the World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther, and was unsuccessful in beating him in the German capital.

This failure to beat the Austrian could lead the 14-time world champion to come back on the blue brand. On SmackDown, Orton can explore various opportunities that will give him the momentum to try and chase a 15th world title in the promotion.

#2. Charlotte Flair

During the December 8, 2023, episode of SmackDown, Charlotte Flair suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus in a match against Asuka. Since then, The Queen has been out of action, but that could change in the upcoming episode of the blue brand.

Reports suggested that Flair was seemingly medically cleared to return, and WWE could treat fans to a comeback by the record champion. If the 38-year-old makes her return, it will be interesting to see whom she will go after.

On the blue brand, there are many ways in which the Stamford-based promotion could use Flair's talents.

#1. Jimmy Uso

On SmackDown after WrestleMania 40, Jimmy Uso was brutally attacked by Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga, who was making his debut. Since this assault, Jimmy has not made a single appearance on WWE programming which has led to questions about when will he return.

As per reports, apart from Charlotte Flair, Jimmy is another name who has been cleared to return. Hence, the upcoming episode of SmackDown could witness the former Bloodline member come back and take on Solo Sikoa and his new faction.

By doing so, Jimmy could let the WWE Universe know he stands with Roman Reigns in the fight against Solo Sikoa and his men. It will be interesting to see if something along these lines takes place on Friday Night SmackDown.
