There is no denying that Kevin Owens has been a favourite candidate of Vince McMahon after he made his main roster debut. Though Owens did not have remarkable run always, he has attained plenty of success on the main roster. The former Universal Champion challenged the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan at Fastlane, but failed to grab the title.

Owens is currently part of the SmackDown Live, but he can be utilized on RAW after The Show of Shows too. It is still unknown if Owens will have an opponent in New Jersey next month. Owens has won the Intercontinental Title twice, US Title thrice and the Universal Title once.

Owens headlined numerous shows as the Universal Champion. Since he made his return to the blue brand, he could chase the most coveted prize of SmackDown Live. With his sublime mic skills and dexterity in the ring, Owens could become a great WWE Champion.
