#2. Daniel Bryan
Most fans never expected Daniel Bryan to return to WWE after he had to retire due to injury. But not only did Bryan return but also scripted unseen success upon his comeback. He was the WWE Champion for several months before losing the title to Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania 35. It was one of the highlights of his illustrious career.
Bryan turned babyface and teamed up with Roman Reigns to take on the duo of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan at Hell in a Cell. This turn presents a wide array of opportunities for feuds going forward. During the recent WWE Draft, he was picked by SmackDown, a move that tells us that the company wants him to be one of the faces of the blue brand.
WWE could slowly slot him into a feud against Brock Lesnar come WrestleMania season. The two men share history as Lesnar defeated Bryan at Survivor Series 2018, and it could be used to propel the story of the underdog overcoming the Beast. It's the ultimate David vs. Goliath battle and fans would love to see Bryan win the match. It would make for an awesome WrestleMania moment and shake things up in WWE.
