Ever since then, no matter how much the fans wanted it, Finn Balor never returned to the main event status.

It is clear that Finn Balor deserves better. He is one the best wrestlers in the world and has the Demon King gimmick in his back pocket. An Intercontinental Championship win can boost Balor's confidence and WWE can make one of their brightest stars happy.

A bonus to that is the continuation of the Finn Balor vs Seth Rollins rivalry. They have great chemistry in the ring and on the mic. Finn/Demon King beating Rollins in a marquee match for the Intercontinental Championship could be a big moment and the Balor Club would be reborn.
