#1 Shouldn’t - Cedric Alexander
The former Cruiserweight Champion has been one of the best and most impressive performers in the company and was one of the cornerstones of the 205 Live roster before moving to the main roster.
While Cedric Alexander was part of the 24/7 Championship drama, it was good to see him become a part of the big leagues after he paired up with Roman Reigns for some weeks. This led to a feud with Drew McIntyre which worked very well for the Superstar and helped him become a regular on the Red brand.
Alexander continued his successful run into the King of the Ring Tournament, but an attack by The O.C. led to an early departure in the quarter finals. In the weeks that followed, Alexander's feud with The O.C. intensified. The former 205 Live star even teamed up with The Viking Raiders to even up the odds against the three men. This resulted in Alexander feuding with United States Championship AJ Styles and although Alexander was able to garner several opportunities at capturing the gold, he ultimately came up short.
There is no doubt that Alexander is a class performer, but it wouldn’t work too well for WWE to bring him back into a rivalry involving The O.C. so soon. Instead, the company can continue booking Alexander in singles matches in order to showcase his abilities, while simultaneously keeping him away from tag teams and factions for some time.
