After an injury caused problems for Hardy's in-ring career, Matt's real life would come crashing down when he discovered that his girlfriend Amy 'Lita' Dumas had been cheating on his friend Adam 'Edge' Copeland.
Rightly furious, Hardy made the affair public, leading to some huge backlash by fans against Edge and Lita.
