#1: Deserved it: Jeff Hardy

Jeff would be gone less than a year after winning his first of three World titles.

Jeff Hardy has had a career as unique as the Charismatic Enigma himself.

After failing another drug test by WWE in 2003, Hardy would refuse treatment by the company, leading the promotion to let the popular Superstar go.

In 2006, Hardy returned to the company, and though he'd be prominently booked, Wellness Policy violations would once again plague Jeff.

When Jeff once again found himself in trouble with drugs, the company had no choice but to release him once again, a huge blow to the company as Hardy was at the time in a main event feud with CM Punk.

Though Jeff would continue to suffer problems with drugs after his release (his TNA Victory Road 2011 'match' against Sting being a worrying example), the former World Champion seems to be doing much better now and is back in WWE.
