Chris Benoit's professional wrestling career spanned more than two decades and saw him becoming World Champion both in WCW and WWE. Benoit had been on the receiving end of a long string of chair shots throughout his career, and his diving headbutt didn't do his condition any favors. After Benoit didn't turn up for WWE's weekend events in June 2007, police launched an investigation and ended up discovering bodies of Benoit, his wife, and son in their home.
Vince McMahon took immediate action and Benoit's record was completely erased from the WWE website. Benoit was not mentioned again on WWE TV. If you have the WWE Network, you might have noticed that the description of every match Benoit has been a part of, doesn't mention his name at all. For instance, a Last Man Standing match between Edge and Benoit would be dubbed as "Edge competes in a Last Man Standing match". Benoit's heinous actions in the final moments of his life made sure that his legacy would never be acknowledged by WWE ever again.

He has interviewed prominent pro wrestling personalities like Noam Dar, Angry Miz Girl, Brendan Cobbina, and Jesse Lambert. Abhilash is a big fan of AEW star Orange Cassidy, as he believes the former International Champion’s on-screen gimmick of an extremely lazy guy resonates with him.
Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
When not reporting on pro wrestling, Abhilash likes to work out, go on walks, read, and explore new eateries.
