We are only a few moments away from this year's first PPV, Royal Rumble.
As it's one of WWE's big four PPV's, it crystal clear that we're going to see more than a handful of surprises, legends returning from the past and entering their respective Rumble matches and a bunch of title changes that nobody is currently expecting.
And even though one of the big four PPV's will take place this Sunday, that doesn't mean the episode of Raw after the Rumble isn't going to be exciting as the PPV, as it's where the all fun begins, the road to WrestleMania.
Therefore, it's highly likely that we might see some surprises, less than that could take place at Royal Rumble, on Raw this next week.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
That being said, let us run through a list of possible surprises that could take place on Raw after Royal Rumble PPV.
#3 Kevin Owens returns and wins the Intercontinental Championship
The return date of Kevin Owens hasn't been confirmed by WWE yet, but according to rumors, we could possibly see the prize-fighter this Sunday or the day after Royal Rumble PPV, Monday Night Raw.
Moreover, if Owens' return is imminent on Raw after the Rumble, we could possibly see him commencing a feud with The Almighty Bobby Lashley, as Owens is rumored to feud with Lashley as a babyface for the Intercontinental Championship upon his return.
Therefore, if Owens will return on this next week's Raw then not only we could see him starting a feud with Lashley, but also possibly winning the Intercontinental Championship from him.
That being said, according to me there is no better opponent than Owens for Lashley to defend his title for the first time since winning it, also it'll be interesting to see how this storyline will play out as Lashley was the one who injured Owens in the first place (storyline reason).
#2 Bray Wyatt returns and starts a feud with Dean Ambrose
Bray Wyatt is long gone from WWE TV now, but according to some rumors, Wyatt could return to WWE TV as early as next week on Raw.
Moreover, it's speculated that Wyatt could not only return with a new gimmick, but also as a babyface, and if he does, I think there's no better opponent for him than Dean Ambrose.
Therefore, if Wyatt return is imminent this next week, I think his first rivalry as a new man could not only lead him to a big WrestleMania match but also if Wyatt starts a feud with Ambrose, I think maybe this heel turn of Ambrose, that has gone miserably so far, could genuinely benefit The Lunatic Fringe if he commences a rivalry with The Eater of Worlds.
That being said, according to some rumors, WWE is thinking to reform the Wyatt family, therefore it's also possible that we could see Wyatt, Rowan, Harper, and Strowman as a unit once again.
#1 Sasha Banks and Bayley turns heel
Sasha Banks is all set to become five-time Raw Women's Champion as she will face The Baddest Woman On Planet Ronda Rousey.
As you already know, there have been some rumors of Rousey leaving the WWE following WrestleMania 35, and as the current Raw Women's Champion is also rumored for a big Wrestlemania match, therefore, it rules out all chances of Banks becoming the new Raw Women's Champion.

Therefore, it is crystal clear that Banks isn't going to defeat Rousey for the title this Sunday, therefore what WWE could do to make Banks still relevant is, they could turn her heel on this coming week.
Thereafter, she could go on to win the inaugural Women's Tag Team Title with Bayley at Elimination Chamber that she's long-rumored for. This way, Banks won't be hurt when she suffers a loss by the of Rousey this Sunday.
