Kurt Angle returned to on-screen television last week, after a vacation, to qualify for the WWE World Cup as a masked competitor. This week on Raw, he exacted revenge on Baron Corbin and attacked the Acting General Manager.
Now that Kurt seems to be back as a performer and given that he has so much history on the blue brand, you could expect the Olympic Gold medalist to show up on SmackDown 1000. If Angle does show up on the blue brand, you should expect him to challenge Daniel Bryan or at least a face-off with him and that would be the most logical thing for Angle to do on SmackDown.
A few weeks ago, WWE teased a dream match between Angle and Bryan on social media for SmackDown 1000. An impromptu dream match between the two is a slight possibility.
