Sami Zayn has been away from the ring for a long time now. Zayn fought his last match on June 17, 2018, at Money in The Bank against Bobby Lashley. Since then, Zayn was out due to an injury and has not made a return since getting healthy again.

Zayn’s friend Kevin Owens made a return not too long ago on SmackDown Live instead of Raw, and instantly got a push as he got a WWE Championship match against Daniel Bryan.

Similarly, it is possible that Sami Zayn will return soon and also get a significant push right off the bat for the time he’s had to wait for his return.

Zayn could return as Finn Balor’s partner on this week’s Raw to take on the man who injured him and his mouthpiece. Zayn would be looking to take revenge from Bobby Lashley, and this could prove to be a great launching pad for him as he could get in contention for the Intercontinental Championship soon after.
