It is no surprise that the current Raw Tag Team Division has once again stale and has lost all of its depth since the retirement of Matt Hardy (leading to the breakup of former champions The Woken Warriors), The Club and The Bar getting drafted over to SmackDown Live, and with Sami Zayn out injured, Kevin Owens isn't really in a mood of tagging with someone else.

That being said, former NXT Tag Team Champions The Authors of Pain also weren't really doing much, up until their new manager Drake Maverick decided to make things a lot more interesting. With Maverick providing the mouthpiece for both Akam and Rezar, it is once again time for The Authors of Pain to reopen their Book of Dominance and eventually set their sights on the Raw Tag Team Championships.
AOP and The Show are more than capable of putting together some absolutely outstanding tag team matches against each other and could very well steal the show at some big WWE pay-per-view as well.
Personally, I wouldn't even mind seeing McIntyre and Ziggler eventually drop their Tag Titles to The AOP, as it would close out to an absolutely dominant reign for both men as tag champs and will also prove to be beneficiary for Akam and Rezar as well.
