WWE Superstar CM Punk is set to return to Monday Night RAW next week. Fans would definitely be interested in what the Second City Saint will say, as his feud with Drew McIntyre intensifies.
Punk's match with McIntyre at SummerSlam 2024 was close to becoming official, but Drew's actions on RAW and his refusal to apologize to General Manager Adam Pearce and the two referees he assaulted at the 2024 Money in the Bank Premium Live Event kept him suspended.
With that in mind, we take a look at three things CM Punk could do on the red brand next week, as we are getting closer to the SummerSlam 2024 Premium Live Event.

#3. Punk could provide an update on his injury
CM Punk continues to recover from the tricep injury he has been dealing with since the 2024 Royal Rumble Premium Live Event in late January. The expectation was that he would be ready to go before SummerSlam, but still, he is not medically cleared to compete.
Thus, fans expect the Best in the World to provide an update on his injury and how likely it will be to appear at SummerSlam 2024, which would mean that a match with Drew McIntyre (and maybe Seth Rollins) would become official.
#2. Asking RAW General Manager Adam Pearce to lift Drew McIntyre's suspension
Last week, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and CM Punk engaged in a segment, where the former told the latter to let him handle Drew McIntyre's suspension.
This week, Punk did not appear on the red brand, but Pearce did not lift Drew's suspension after the latter refused to apologize to him and the referees he assaulted at Money in the Bank 2024.
With McIntyre still suspended, one thing CM Punk can do is meet Adam Pearce again and ask him to reinstate The Scottish Warrior, making their match at SummerSlam 2024 official.
This could happen provided that Punk will be medically cleared to compete.
#1. Having another face-off with Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins and CM Punk do not see eye-to-eye and they seemingly re-ignited their feud recently when Punk interfered in the World Heavyweight Championship match at Money in the Bank and cost Drew McIntyre the title after he cashed in his briefcase.
Rollins did not appreciate it as it cost him a title opportunity and confronted the Best in the World. This was potentially the first step in the build-up of their rivalry, which is expected to be extended for months.
As Rollins has unfinished business with both Punk and Drew, it is a likely scenario that he will be added to the bout, making it a Triple Threat Match. So, fans expect CM Punk and Seth Rollins to have another face-off next week on RAW, adding more fuel to their feud.
Whether it will lead to a match at SummerSlam 2024 will be determined by CM Punk's status, but WWE plans to keep the rivalry continuing for months. The expectation is that their feud will come to an end in April 2025 when they will have a match, probably for the World Heavyweight Championship, at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
