Roman Reigns and The Wise Man, Paul Heyman!

As announced by WWE, Roman Reigns is scheduled to make his first televised SmackDown appearance since defeating Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39.

Given the fact that The American Nightmare is solely a RAW Superstar, the dust has seemingly settled on a continuation of the feud between the two... for now.

With that said, all signs point to The Tribal Chief aiming his attention elsewhere. What is set to go down when The Head of the Table makes his return?

Here are a few possibilities.

#3 Trouble in Paradise: Roman Reigns kicks The Usos off The Island of Relevancy

As seen on the silver screen, Roman Reigns has gone to great lengths to distance himself from The Usos since their tag team title loss at this year's WrestleMania.

Between not letting them enter his locker room for a brief heart-to-heart, and the exclusion of being drafted with the rest of The Bloodline, it's clear to see Reigns is none too pleased with his cousins.

While it's never said directly, It's been implied multiple times that Reigns has instructed Solo Sikoa to take out his own flesh and blood. Every time the former tag champs fail, it seems like we're one step closer to Sikoa delivering punishment to the duo.

Reign's return might mark the end of The Usos' tenure with the rest of The Bloodline faction. Moreover, The Tribal Chief may lure his cousins into a false sense of security due to their latest victory at Backlash.

Alas, this might all be a ruse. Once The Usos think Roman still has their backs, the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion might just stick a knife in the same area.

#2 The Undisputed Crap Starter: Roman Reigns stirs the pot between The Usos and Solo Sikoa

Reigns' distance from The Usos has indirectly caused somewhat of a rift between Solo Sikoa and Jey Uso. As seen on RAW, SmackDown, and Backlash, The Usos' shortcomings have put a noticeable amount of pressure on Sikoa to pick up the slack.

Since Jimmy and Jey aren't smartened up to what's going on with the rest of their faction, it might be easy for them to assume that Solo's recent attitude towards them comes from ego. In actuality, it's more likely that the former NXT North American Champion doesn't want to take out his own family.

As Reigns has shown in the past, he doesn't mind teasing/embarrassing his cousins on live TV. He even used Sami Zayn to get in the head of Jey at one point.

With their inability to recapture the tag titles, Reigns might perceive this as the perfect time to poke fun at them whilst putting Solo over. Subsequently, that could intensify the tension between Jey and Sikoa.

#1 The Roman Reigns/Usos saga is set aside and Reigns' real intention of showing up pertains to targeting his next opponent (victim) for a title match

Ad

The family conflict angle might play a huge part in Roman Reigns' next feud. Moreover, it will more than likely play a pivotal part in The Tribal Chief's downfall.

As much as Reigns neglects The Usos, the fact still remains that Jimmy and Jey are two of the biggest reasons Roman can still call himself a champion. Hypothetically speaking, let's say that some poor unfortunate soul deems this Friday night as the perfect time to express just how much he wants to be the one to dethrone Roman Reigns.

The challenge is accepted; albeit after Paul Heyman gets on the mic and verbally obliterates the opposing foe. For the next couple of weeks, Roman's challenger is built up as a potential threat only to be smashed, sacrificed, and led to the slaughter...

Either that or The Usos finally wise up, grow spines again, and cost their cousin the match in the clutch.
