While this is an honor mostly limited to legends and top-tier talent, Matt Hardy deserved to bid adieu to the WWE Universe on RAW instead of his final show being a live event.
He may not have held the WWE or IC Championships, but Matt Hardy is a certified future Hall of Famer for his contributions to the Tag Team division throughout his career and it would have been a feel-good moment to see Matt Hardy make his retirement speech on live television.
