The last time WWE fans saw The Rock was on RAW after WrestleMania 40. Since then, the Hollywood star has not made a single appearance on WWE programming. However, the same could change in the upcoming episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

This week's episode of the blue brand is the season premiere of SmackDown which will mark the show's move to the USA Network. RAW earlier this week witnessed the return of the legendary Bret Hart. Hence, it won't be surprising to see SmackDown try and get someone like The Final Boss.

In this article, we will look at three things that may happen if The Rock returns on SmackDown this week:

#3. The Rock's feud with Cody Rhodes could begin

The last time fans saw The Rock on WWE programming, he told Cody Rhodes the story between them was not over. Hence, if The People's Champion returns to SmackDown on Friday a feud between him and the Undisputed WWE Champion could kick off.

This feud between the two men would be a gold mine for WWE because the only time they clashed in the ring was at WrestleMania 40 in a Tag Team match. Until now, Rock and Rhodes have never faced each other in a singles match which only helps in making the feud more exciting.

#2. Solo Sikoa is not The Tribal Chief anymore

After the conclusion of WrestleMania 40, Solo Sikoa, in the absence of Roman Reigns, attacked Jimmy Uso and claimed his place as the new Tribal Chief. While Reigns returned months later to confront Sikoa, the latter still claims to be the Tribal Chief and wears the Ula Fala.

If The Rock returns on SmackDown's upcoming episode, he could express his displeasure with how Sikoa has acted since the conclusion of WrestleMania 40. Or, in a surprising turn of events, the wrestler turned Hollywood superstar could reveal himself as the new Tribal Chief.

#1. The feud with Roman Reigns starts early

At WrestleMania 40, the WWE Universe witnessed Cody Rhodes beat Roman Reigns which put an end to the feud between them. Given there is nothing left between Rhodes and Reigns now, many believe that The Original Tribal Chief will face The Rock at WrestleMania 41.

If that is the case, then Rock's potential appearance on SmackDown's upcoming episode could mark the beginning of the feud between him and Reigns. This feud could involve every member of The Bloodline in WWE, and in the end, fans could witness a match between the two megastars.
