#2 Reinvigorated Breezango

Last week on NXT, Imperium made their mark when they interrupted Kushida's match. This week, they laid out a challenge as Kushida was forced to find two partners to battle Alexander Wolfe, Marcel Barthel, and Fabian Aichner.

Fandango and Tyler Breeze turned out to be the surprise partners of Kushida. The match was slow to start, but the pace picked up towards the end.

Imperium suffered a defeat after a sudden pinfall from Kushida. Walter came out and attacked Kushida after the match, which likely sets up a match between the two at a TakeOver in the future.

Putting Breezango back in NXT was a smart decision as they have found more screen time and opportunity to reinvigorate their careers.

#1 Matt Riddle goes the extra mile

Matt Riddle and Killian Dain put their feud to an end when they faced each other in a Street Fight in what was a rematch from last week's episode.

This match was chaotic, and it didn't take them long to make things extreme. The action soon spilled to the outside as Dain drove Riddle through the wall with a crossbody. Riddle wouldn't stay down and managed to put Dain through a table.

They took each other to the limits using Kendo Sticks, Chairs, and whatnot. Dain survived a knee strike through a chair but he tapped out when Riddle locked him in the armbar.

As a result, Matt Riddle became the number one contender for the NXT Championship and will face Adam Cole next week. Speaking of Cole, he came out after the match to deliver a warning to Riddle. But Riddle locked him in the armbar until The Undisputed Era made the save.

This made sure to get fans excited for their title match next week!
