3 Things that could happen after this week's RAW (December 16th, 2019)

#1 The Viking Raiders will be Randy Orton's backup

A new rivalry was hinted at TLC, where The OC answered the open challenge from The Viking Raiders. Even though their TLC bout ended in a double count-out, they had a rematch on RAW this week, which was a non-title match. The OC picked up a win against the reigning RAW Tag Team Champions, making a strong statement in the process. It was their second victory over the champions, as The OC defeated The Viking Raiders to win the Tag Team World Cup at Crown Jewel.

Interestingly, the tag team rivalry has also become part of the feud between AJ Styles and Randy Orton, as the two Superstars met each other in the main event of RAW this week. For the first time since WrestleMania 35, the two locked horns, and Orton avenged his previous defeat, pinning 'The Phenomenal One.' However, The OC came out assaulting Orton after the match, leaving 'The Viper' helpless, but The Viking Raiders came to rescue the fourteen-time WWE Champion. However, The OC stood tall, taking out the babyfaces.

Since starting the feud with AJ Styles, Orton has had a disadvantage, as Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have been major obstacles for 'The Viper,' getting outnumbered by the three members of The OC. Nevertheless, the recent involvement of The Viking Raiders hinted that Orton will now have some serious backup in this feud.
