#1 Brock Lesnar will be the special guest referee for the Seth Rollins vs. Baron Corbin match
This might seem too obvious, but it’s pretty evident that Brock Lesnar will be the special guest referee for the Universal Championship match between Seth Rollins and Baron Corbin. It also makes perfect sense for Lesnar to be the referee here for a few reasons.
First, Lesnar still has some unfinished business with Rollins after the beatdown he received at Super ShowDown a couple of weeks ago. Brock isn’t the type to just let a beatdown like that go unpunished, and what better revenge would there be for him to screw Rollins out of the title?

Also, while Rollins has beat down Lesnar multiple times in the past, it’s highly unlikely that Lesnar would let him get the chance to attack him from behind with a chair like Rollins has been doing the past two nights. Paul Heyman has also teased Lesnar showing up on Sunday so it isn’t too far fetched.
The only issue with this is the question of why would Lesnar help Corbin win the Universal Championship? That question is answered in the previous slide, as Lesnar would likely be taken out “accidentally” in the closing moments of the match, leading to an actual WWE official to make the three count for Rollins. This also gives Corbin a reason to have one final match at Extreme Rules. Local advertising has Rollins vs. Corbin in a Tables match scheduled for the July pay-per-view.
